[The street, as England had promised Hakuba it would be, was deserted that evening. Almost unnaturally so, for somewhere in London, where usually even the quietest streets had one or two people on them. But well... times had changed. Wars tended to do that to a city. Even one as busy as London was.

England stood on the corner of the street where he'd agreed to meet Hakuba and stared down the street. He had a good view of the entire street from here, but if he was honest with himself... he was more than a little apprehensive. Maybe this was all just a waste of time? And even if it wasn't... just what would a car supposedly from the future, appearing out of thin air, look like?
